Make better IT decisions before they become expensive mistakes.
For Northern Beaches businesses with 5 to 30 staff. Get a clear view of what deserves attention now and what can wait, with costs and priorities laid out before you commit.

What clients say about working with us.
Stop making technology decisions one invoice at a time
Licences renew because nobody has checked them. Security work gets delayed because it is difficult to tell what matters. A supplier recommends a new system, but nobody inside the business has the time or technical background to challenge the proposal.
The result is reactive spending. You approve the next urgent request without knowing how it fits with everything else. You do not need a grand strategy or a part-time technology executive. You need someone who understands small business, explains the options clearly and gives you a practical next step.
Start with the decision in front of you.
Bring us the proposal, renewal, security questionnaire or business change you are weighing up. We will establish what decision needs to be made and whether a strategy engagement is the right next step.
Review what matters
We look at the relevant technology, suppliers, costs and business requirements. A standalone annual strategy engagement begins with a focused 60 to 90-minute session.
Set the priorities
You get a straight view of what needs attention, what can wait and what is not worth doing. We include expected costs where they can be estimated responsibly.
Leave with a written plan
Your 12-month roadmap sets out the priorities, expected costs and timing. Strategic and Fortified managed clients review progress with us during quarterly check-ins.
Get a clear answer before you commit.
The scope follows the decision. These are the situations Northern Beaches businesses most often need help working through.
IT spending that needs a plan
See upcoming technology decisions before they become surprise invoices, including what needs attention and what can wait.
Suppliers and licences
Review what you are paying for, where services overlap and whether the current arrangement still suits the business.
A major business change
Understand the trade-offs before an office move, new business system, network replacement or change of IT provider.
Security requirements
Make sense of a customer, insurer or tender questionnaire, then identify the technology and security gaps worth addressing first.
Practical AI adoption
Assess where Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT could save time, where they add little value and what safe-use boundaries staff need.
A second opinion
Check a supplier proposal or recommendation before signing, without having to replace your current IT provider.
Advice comes before the sale
We can supply hardware and Microsoft 365 licences when that makes sense. Buying something new is not automatically the answer.
We start with the business need, compare the practical options and explain the trade-offs in plain English. If keeping what you already have is the better decision, we will tell you.
What your 12-month roadmap covers.
The roadmap is designed to be used during the year, not filed away after the meeting.
First priorities
The decisions that need attention first, with the reason each one matters.
Expected costs
Upcoming spending you can plan for before it becomes an urgent invoice.
What can wait
Work that can safely stay on the list without creating unnecessary risk.
Next actions
Clear timing and ownership so the plan turns into decisions and completed work.
It is worth a conversation when the old approach stops being enough.
The business has grown
Informal IT decisions worked when the team was smaller, but the costs and consequences are now harder to judge.
Someone is asking security questions
A customer, insurer or tender wants answers that nobody inside the business can give confidently.
A major change is approaching
A renewal, office move, software replacement or supplier proposal needs a clear decision before you commit.
Technology spending feels unclear
You suspect the business is paying for licences or services it no longer needs, but nobody has checked.

IT strategy, answered.
What does an IT consultant do for a small business?
We review how technology supports the business, identify avoidable cost or risk and help you decide what to do next. The work may produce a 12-month roadmap, a supplier and licence review, help with a security questionnaire or advice before a major project.
How is IT strategy different from regular IT support?
Day-to-day support keeps staff working and deals with technical issues. IT strategy looks ahead at spending, risk and upcoming business changes. They work well together, but you can engage us for a standalone strategy project without moving your ongoing IT support.
How much does an IT strategy engagement cost?
Standalone strategy engagements are typically $1,500 to $8,000 ex GST, depending on the depth and scope of the work. We confirm the scope and price before starting. Annual roadmaps and quarterly check-ins are included in our Strategic and Fortified managed IT plans. Foundation includes an annual strategy chat.
Do you supply hardware and software licences?
Yes. We can source hardware and supply Microsoft 365 licences when it helps. Our advice still starts with what the business needs. We will not recommend replacing something simply because we can sell the replacement.
Can you help with a cybersecurity questionnaire?
Yes. We can explain the questions, check your current controls and give you a prioritised list of gaps. We can also help implement agreed technology changes. We provide practical guidance about your systems and security controls, not insurance advice.
Do we need to change IT providers first?
No. We can complete a standalone roadmap, review or second-opinion engagement while your current support arrangement stays in place. If you later want ongoing managed support, that is a separate decision.
